Missionary Ron White and Visions for Christ volunteers have brought thousands of eyeglasses to the people of Peru, Honduras, Nicaragua, Haiti and Burkina Faso, Africa. We examine eyes and give out prescription eyeglasses. We have given out as many as 400 pairs of glasses in a single day. It's a real blessing to see a grandmother smile when she reads her Bible for the first time in years or to see happy tears of a child when he puts on his new glasses and can see the blackboard for the first time. We also bring medicines to treat various eye ailments.

As we are working with so many people who otherwise might never hear the "Good News", the opportunity is there to show God's love and teach His Word ... It helps to build up the local Church when people realize that the Pastor asked for us to come to their village not just for his Church, but for all the people of the village.
